"dataviz Australia" was founded in 2010 by Ben Reardon . Ben has a diverse background, as a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with experience in a variety of fields. Since 2002 he has specialized in Cybercrime/Internet banking fraud response and mitigation. Ben has worked with and for some of the largest Financial Institutions and Law Enforcement agencies in Australia and abroad.

We applaud displays of altruism in the commercial sector, and as our own contribution to society, we currently do pro-bono work for the Australian Honeynet Project and for the Shadowserver Foundation, which are essentially volunteer 'for the public good' initiatives which aim to make the Internet a safer place for us all.

We also work closely with the academic community and hope that through this interaction we increase the already high quality of students that Australia produces.
